It is the second largest borough in the city after Vågsbygd. In 2015 the population was 30,000. Lund is divided in to 4 districts, Lund itself (centrum), Gimlekollen, Justvik and Ålefjær. East for Lund, is the borough Oddernes, west is Kvadraturen and Grin. North for the borough is the municipality Vennesla. Lund has the Otra river on the west side and Topdalsfjorden on the right and the sea to the south. The University of Agder is located at Lund along with Kristiansand Cathedral School Lund Church and Oddernes Church is the only churches at Lund. Oddernes Church was one of the first churches to be built in Kristiansand. There are two bridges over to Kvadraturen: "Lundsbroa" and "Oddernesbrua". Before Oddernesbrua was Lundsbroa the main way to east. Today, Oddernesbrua is a part of the highway E18, the bridge ends in a tunnel. While Lundsbroa is a part of Riksvei 471, it ends in the city centrum of Lund. Public transportation is available with bus, all local busses headed eastbound has more than one stop at Lund. There is also buses that goes "deeper" in to Lund.
